Martie Schoeman's Bobotie

Fry 2 chopped onions in a bit of oil. Add 1kg mince to the onions, let in braai/cooked until cooked. In the mean time put 2 slices of bread in a bowel. Add 250ml milk to bread. As soon as it is soft press milk out and pour into a jug. Add 2 eggs to the milk and a extra egg to the bread mix. Add to the bread 1 Tablespoon currie, 1,5 tablespoons sugar, 2 teaspoons salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1/2 tablespoon tumeric, 2 tablespoons vinegar, 250ml raisins and 3 tablespoons chutney. Mix together and add to the mince mixture. Put in a square pyres dish, beat the milk with egg well and pour over the mince mixture. Bake in oven 180 C for 45 minutes. Cook rice and sweet potatoes to go with the Bobotie.
