The very high quality of the blade is achieved through a specialised heat treatment process consisting of hardening, subzero cooling from 50°C to 196°C below zero, and tempering to increase the elasticity of the steel. This process helps guarantee a long and efficient service life while maintaining dependable cutting performance.

The anatomical, ergonomic and textured polypropylene handle is injected directly onto the blade tang, providing safety, comfort and a secure grip during handling. The handle also features antimicrobial protection that inhibits and reduces the growth of bacteria and fungi. This technology is incorporated during the handle manufacturing process and lasts throughout the product's lifetime. However, antimicrobial protection does not eliminate the need for thorough washing and cleaning.
